Fosi Audio has expanded its growing range of affordable hi-fi products with the introduction of the SW10, a compact active subwoofer designed to enhance both stereo music systems and home theater installations. Combining a 10-inch down-firing driver with an integrated Class D amplifier, the SW10 promises deep, controlled bass performance while maintaining a living room-friendly footprint.

Designed for music and home cinema

The SW10 is built to integrate seamlessly with a wide variety of amplifiers, stereo systems, and AV receivers. It features both dedicated LFE and stereo RCA inputs, making it equally suitable for home theater processors and traditional two-channel hi-fi setups.

An RCA output is also included, allowing users to daisy-chain an additional active subwoofer or connect compatible equipment for expanded low-frequency performance.

The SW10 is designed to work with amplifiers and AV receivers, so it features LFE and RCA inputs, as well as an RCA output for connecting another active subwoofer or amplifier.

Flexible room tuning

To help achieve the best possible bass response in different listening environments, the SW10 offers comprehensive adjustment options. A continuously variable crossover ranging from 40 Hz to 180 Hz allows the subwoofer to blend smoothly with virtually any bookshelf or floorstanding loudspeaker.

A variable phase control adjustable between 0° and 180° further helps optimize bass integration by aligning the subwoofer with the main speakers and minimizing phase cancellation within the room.

200-Watt Class D amplifier

Powering the SW10 is a built-in Class D amplifier rated at 200 Watts RMS with peak output reaching up to 500 Watts. The efficient amplifier is designed to provide clean, controlled bass while keeping power consumption and heat generation low.

For everyday convenience, the subwoofer also includes automatic signal sensing. It powers on automatically when an audio signal is detected and returns to standby after approximately 15 minutes of inactivity, reducing unnecessary energy consumption.

The compact enclosure makes the SW10 ideal not only for a dedicated theater area but also for a regular living room.

Compact enclosure with down-firing design

Despite its impressive output capabilities, the SW10 remains relatively compact. The cabinet measures 360 × 360 × 400 mm and weighs 14 kilograms, making it suitable for placement in dedicated listening rooms as well as modern living spaces.

The down-firing 10-inch driver is engineered to produce deep, room-filling bass while helping distribute low frequencies more evenly throughout the listening area.
