The DP-3000NE is the flagship premium direct drive turntable from the Japanese company Denon. The durable design and S-shaped tonearm reproduce detailed music without resonance. And the natural dark ebony wood veneer makes it a great addition to your decor.
Combining beauty and sound quality, the DP-3000NE is designed to change the way you think about sound. Rugged construction and sturdy adjustable damping feet provide the stability needed to reproduce detailed music without resonance. The dark natural ebony veneer and metal platter, tonearm and controls look stunning in your decor. The carefully designed S-shaped tonearm suppresses vibration and optimizes tracking angle at any point on the record.
Direct Drive Motor System
Follows Denon’s long tradition of direct drive motors whose rotation speed remains constant regardless of the selected speed or load. Easy to use, low maintenance and almost instantaneous full speed. Denon released their first direct drive turntable, the DN-302F, for broadcast studios in 1970.
Space Vector Motor PWM Control
Space vector pulse width modulation (SV-PWM) is a new technology for motor rotation control. SV-PWM is simply an algorithm used to control the PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) module that basically powers the motor. SV-PWM significantly reduces motor harmonics that can cause overheating and torque fluctuations, and provides continuous reliable voltage and frequency output over long listening periods at any speed or load thanks to continuous speed feedback.
Adjustable Damping Feet
The feet are the key to protecting playback from any vibration picked up by the surface on which the turntable is placed. But these feet are also adjustable to perfectly balance the disc for the most precise tracking of the needle in the groove.
Genuine Denon S-Shape Tonearm with Static Balance
The Denon DP-3000NE features a carefully designed curved S-shape tonearm with an optimized tracking angle at any point on the record. This newly improved Denon® tonearm features cartridge weight adjustment, anti-roll adjustment (0-3g) and newly developed tonearm height adjustment (0-9mm). This gives you complete flexibility in customizing your turntable for your preferred cartridges or custom mat.
Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS)
Switching Mode Power Supply (SMPS) provides great benefits to turntables by eliminating the need for a line transformer and unnecessary vibration. This allows the power supply to be integrated into the turntable, eliminating any external power transformers or power supplies hanging off the back of the product. This also avoids voltage and frequency fluctuations due to changes in the power system.
