Premiera T3S: State-of-the-art integrated stereo amplifier

Premiera T3S
Premiera T3S

The Premiera T3S is an advanced Class A/B integrated stereo amplifier featuring a vacuum tube preamplifier. It includes a built-in network player, MM/MC phono preamplifier, DAC, Bluetooth connectivity, HDMI ARC, Wi-Fi, and AirPlay 2, delivering a rated output power of 115W per channel.

The design of the Premiera T3S amplifier is characterized by a minimalist aesthetic, consistent with the Premiera brand, while also being highly functional and indicative of its sophisticated features. The front panel is equipped with all essential controls, including a volume knob, three tone adjustment dials, source selection buttons, and playback controls. The T3S display is user-friendly and informative, allowing easy navigation through the settings menu. Users can select sources, adjust display and button brightness, access device information, perform software updates, and restore factory settings if needed. Additionally, the control knob or remote, familiar from other Premiera amplifiers, facilitates menu navigation.

The 450 W branded toroidal transformer is housed in a dedicated shielded enclosure, providing separate power to the tube and semiconductor components of the Premiera T3S. A notable characteristic of the Premiera T3S is its enhanced tone block settings, allowing for the adjustment of three frequency bands—low, mid, and high—rather than the standard two.

There are twelve potential input sources available. The HDMI ARC input enhances the amplifier’s functionality, enabling playback of soundtracks from any contemporary television. Additionally, there are four analog outputs: one designated for recording, two adjustable outputs for external amplification (both balanced and unbalanced), and one mono output intended for an active subwoofer. The digital signal is managed by the renowned ES9018K2M Sabre DAC. Furthermore, an additional DAC can be linked to the amplifier, as the T3S features an optical digital output. The user-friendly Audio System mobile application facilitates Wi-Fi connectivity and network player configuration.

I like the presented description of this model. And should find it interesting and useful. Some think I could do with. What is the UK price, and where could I get it?

“State of the art”? With only AptxHD and BT 5.0?? Without LDAC and BT 5.4 you can’t say it is “state of the art”. The amplifier section specs line up with my 40 year old Sherwood 6040 amp which I would say still sounds nice but certainly isn’t state of the art. Upgrade the BT to top of the line and you will have something here.
