The iFi Audio Uno is a compact DAC and headphone amplifier that easily and effectively enhances the sound quality of a standard digital source such as a smartphone, tablet or computer. Uno simply connects to your source device via the USB-C input and requires no additional power source. Add headphones, powered speakers, or an amplifier and passive speakers and enjoy rich, accurate sound reproduction – all at an affordable price.
Uno supports a variety of file formats and allows you to enjoy high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 384 kHz, DSD256 (native), DXD 384 kHz and MQA (Master Quality Authenticated). The latter allows you to enjoy sound quality as close as possible to the original studio recording.
iFi Audio Uno offers three operating modes to suit different usage scenarios. Three buttons on the top of the device allow you to quickly and easily switch between modes. The active mode is highlighted in blue.
The analog circuitry of the iFi Audio Uno demonstrates a careful and thoughtful design. In particular, the headphone output uses proprietary S-Balanced technology to reduce noise and crosstalk.
In addition, the DAC uses an analog volume control. Its advantage is that it provides non-destructive audio level control, maintaining the device’s sound quality regardless of volume level.
Finally, the PowerMatch feature allows Uno to adjust the gain level for a perfect match with both in-ear monitors and more demanding headphones.
Proprietary DRE (Dynamic Range Enhancement) technology expands the dynamic range by at least 6 dB for an improved listening experience by reducing THD and crosstalk. In addition to this feature, gain control and digital filters are available to tailor the Uno to individual tastes and needs.
