HiBy has launched an updated version of its acclaimed R6 series of portable digital audio players, unveiling the HiBy R6 Pro Max model. This new addition marks the third generation of the R6 Pro player, succeeding the R6 Pro II in the company’s lineup. The HiBy R6 Pro Max is designed to deliver exceptional performance within a compact and user-friendly design. It features a top-tier chipset that includes dual ES9039MS PRO DAC chips from ESS Sabre Technologies. With their 32-bit architecture, these chips can decode high-resolution audio signals with specifications reaching up to 32-bit / 768 kHz PCM and DSD1024. Coupled with a premium analog pathway, the HiBy R6 Pro Max ensures superior sound quality.

HiBy has integrated an 8-channel I/V amplification circuit into the R6 Pro Max. This player features eight individual OPA1612 chips along with two OPA1622 chips, all complemented by ELNA electrolytic capacitors in its analog section. Consequently, this new model can provide up to 678 mW of power per channel.
The HiBy R6 Pro Max operates on the Android 12 operating system and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor, accompanied by 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Users can install various audio playback applications on the device. The player showcases a hexagonal design reminiscent of the R6 Pro II model and boasts a large 5.9-inch color touchscreen with Full HD resolution.

The HiBy R6 Pro Max player features a four-channel power supply that delivers clean and efficient energy to both analog and digital circuits. Each of the four sections—DAC, I/V, LPF, and output stage—receives independent power from a robust 8,200 mAh battery. On a single charge, the player offers a nominal operating time of up to 10 hours. Additionally, this new model supports fast charging with PD 3.1 at 40 W.
