Vinyl has become the preferred medium for numerous audiophiles, as noted by Vitus Audio. The founder of Vitus Audio, Hans-Ole Vitus, boasts an impressive collection of turntables, as highlighted on the Vitus Audio website. Maximizing the potential of each recorded piece has always been central to Vitus Audio’s mission, and optimizing a record collection can present challenges. Managing very low output levels while minimizing noise is essential. The MP-P201 Mk.III achieves exceptional sound reproduction, a result of the designers’ commitment to refining every aspect of the signal path.
The MP-P201 Mk.III incorporates the same discrete gain stage modules that were designed for the MP-L201, but they have been specifically optimized for a significantly lower noise floor in this phono stage. This optimization is crucial for achieving superior musical performance, even from the lowest output components available on the market today.
The gain factor selection is determined by the output voltage of the connected component, ensuring an ideal match between the component and the phono amplifier. Adjusting the gain factor and load settings can be conveniently accomplished using the remote control or the buttons located on the front panel. Additionally, the unit is compatible with both MM and MC components.
The external power supply significantly minimizes the noise floor, as the transformer and other power supply components are positioned at a considerable distance from the audio circuits of the MP-P201 Mk.III.
The MP-P201 Mk.III comes standard in Pure White, Jet Black, or Warm Silver, with popular unique finishes available in Titanium Orange, Dark Champagne, and Titanium Grey.
Details regarding pricing and delivery are still pending.
