Rekkord Audio M500: A turntable made for vinyl aficionados

The Rekkord Audio M500 turntable features a sub-chassis that is clad in aluminum, complementing the wooden finish of its main frame. This sub-chassis is supported by four parabolic springs that provide damping, along with the tonearm and platter support bearing integrated into the sub-chassis. The tonearm itself is a straight aluminum tube mounted on a cardan bearing. For internal wiring, the turntable utilizes the proprietary Easy Motion cable, which guarantees precise signal transmission without degradation. Additionally, the tonearm shell is constructed from carbon to shield the cartridge from external vibrations.

For smooth lowering and lifting of the pickup, the tonearm is equipped with a damped microlift. Depending on the modification, the model can be supplied without a cartridge or with a pre-installed MM-pickup 2M Blue from the Danish company Ortofon. In case of installing a cartridge of his own choice, the music lover will be able to use the settings of the clamping force and anti-skating. The latter has an original design, more convenient than when using a traditional weight.

The model provides electronic switching of the disk rotation speed using a touch sensor with LED indication of the selected mode. Rekkord Audio M500 is equipped with a belt drive from a low-noise motor, damped from the chassis for additional protection from vibrations. The player comes with a high-quality phono cable and a transparent acrylic cover for protection from dust. The device is manufactured at a specialized plant in Germany.
