The second generation of the Capella features several important developments and improvements. For example, there’s a new Stereo Hub 2, the central control box equipped with a more powerful ARM Cortex-A53 processor. A new, dedicated subwoofer output has also been installed, and an Ethernet port has been added, ensuring a stable network connection.

Each Capella 2 features amplifiers capable of delivering 100 watts per speaker. Each driver has its own amplifier and digital-to-analog converter, ensuring precise and independent signal control. A digital signal processor (DSP) continuously optimizes the driver’s performance while protecting the components. This design delivers outstanding performance for a system of this size.
The internal structure utilizes Triangle’s patented DVAS (Driver Vibration Absorption System), which significantly reduces vibrations within the housing. The curved shape of the housing, combined with the textured silicone edge, enhances sound wave diffraction.
Capella speakers utilize the horn tweeter, a long-standing trademark of the brand, which, thanks to its wide dispersion, produces homogeneous sound throughout the listening room. Equipped with a new 25mm magnesium/aluminum alloy dome, this powerful tweeter delivers harmonious highs.

Triangle Capella 2
The Capella mid-woofer features a 165mm driver with a patented natural cellulose pulp diaphragm, a true Triangle trademark. Since its founding, the brand has favored paper cone drivers for their colorless reproduction, especially in the vocal range. The driver is equipped with a vented aluminum chassis and a semi-roller suspension made of a combination of foam and treated rubber. The result is a natural reproduction of vocals and instruments with good openness and generous, dynamic bass.
Triangle Capella 2: Stereo Hub 2

The heart of the system, the Stereo Hub 2 network player and transmitter, is powered by WiSA technology. WiSA is used by several manufacturers and provides a completely wireless connection between speakers. It delivers high-resolution audio that is 100% true to the original signal, with no perceptible delay, according to the developers of the WiSA protocol.
All sources connect directly to this external hub, allowing the speakers to be positioned freely and easily, without running cables between them. This design simplifies installation, offers complete placement flexibility, and ensures seamless integration into any interior.
The Capella 2 also features Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity for streaming up to 24-bit/192 kHz resolution from a smartphone, tablet, or computer. Furthermore, the Capella 2 is AirPlay and Chromecast compatible, allowing you to send music directly to the speakers without any complicated setup.

The system also supports Spotify Connect Lossless and Tidal Connect, for direct and intuitive access to these popular streaming services with optimal sound quality. For the most demanding users, Roon Ready certification guarantees audiophile-grade music library management, while the UPnP/DLNA protocol enables simple and stable playback of files stored on a NAS or computer.
Triangle Capella 2: calibration
Capella 2 easily adapts to any room thanks to its automatic calibration system (available via iOS devices or the Zen Microphone), which adjusts the sound to the room’s acoustics. For even more customization, a full equalizer allows you to fine-tune the sound to individual listening preferences.
Triangle Capella 2: price and delivery information
The Triangle Capella 2 will be available in early 2026 in five new finishes: English Green, Oak, Space Black, Astral Blue, and Space White. The entire system, comprising two speakers and a Stereo Hub 2, will retail for just under €2,500.
