Pantheone I: Expensive Design speakers with Amazon Alexa support

The traditional form for acoustics is a parallelepiped, and very rarely anyone deviates from this standard too far. The designers and engineers of Pantheone Audio decided that parallelepipeds were ugly, and inspired by the real Pantheon, they developed the acoustics of the same name.

According to the developers, sound, form and function must be ideally combined in order to please both the eye and the ears. The body of an unusual shape, similar to an egg, from which something horseshoe-shaped was cut, is precisely designed to solve this problem. It is made of resin, a dense material with suitable damping properties and the necessary rigidity to improve the handling of the audio waves inside the cabinet.

For low frequencies, two 6.5-inch long-stroke speakers with large coils are responsible, loaded on curved bass reflexes and located opposite each other. This format allows you to compensate for mechanical vibrations from the speakers themselves and achieve a rich sound.

Each sidewall houses a pair of 0.75-inch silk tweeters and one 4-inch paper midrange for 360 ° sound distribution. All speakers are covered with carefully selected acoustically transparent fabric. The speakers are powered by class D amplifiers: two 130W for woofers and two 70W for tweeters and midrange. This configuration plays from 33 Hz to 22 kHz.

From the interfaces, a 3.5 mm input, Bluetooth 4.2 with support for aptX and Ethernet with Wi-Fi are available. The built-in player supports Spotify Connect, Amazon Music, Tidal, TuneIn, and is also AirPlay and DLNA ready. The acoustics can be controlled via a smartphone app (and in the same place – to collect a multiroom for a maximum of eight zones), as well as by voice using Amazon Alexa. True, there are several buttons on the case for adjusting the volume, selecting the operating mode and controlling playback.

One Pantheone I weighs 25 kg with dimensions of 653x460x437 mm. It is now available in black or white for € 2,399.
