The SourcePoint V10 Master Edition from Mofi Electronics is the latest development from the American audio company, and the design once again comes from loudspeaker designer Andrew Jones. The three-way SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is the largest and most powerful loudspeaker in the SourcePoint series.

For the flagship V10, Andrew Jones has further developed the 10-inch two-way SourcePoint 10 monitor model by adding two 10-inch woofers and two 10-inch rear-firing passive radiators to the enlarged enclosure. This results in a three-way floorstander that combines exceptional mid-range/high-frequency detail and coherence with increased bass response and resolution. The V10 takes its name from the use of five 10-inch elements, and the V10’s three-way system allows the dedicated 10-inch concentric driver to focus purely on the midrange and high frequencies. Each part of the spectrum is optimally handled by a separate driver, reducing the operating load and maintaining clarity in the 27 Hz to 30 kHz range, according to the manufacturer.

To enable precise phase alignment and thus ensure a seamless transition between the drivers and the system’s high frequencies, the V10 Master Edition utilizes an adjustable crossover filter. This allows the listener to tailor the speaker’s HF output to the room’s acoustics and their own preferences via a three-position switch on the rear panel.
The V10’s 1″ thick sealed cabinet features the SourcePoint Series’ signature multi-faceted baffle, which utilizes strategically placed planes around each driver to tame edge diffraction and unwanted reflections. Isolated internal chambers for each woofer and passive radiator minimize cabinet resonance and contribute to well-controlled bass response.
The MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is available in real wood veneers in Walnut or Black Ash, with black or gray magnetically attached cover plates. Each cabinet is matched for a seamless grain and sealed with a durable satin clear lacquer that enhances the wood’s natural character and protects it from daily wear and tear.
