The Arcam AVR5 AV receiver has the only difference from the younger AVR10 model, which is the absence of an auto-calibration microphone for the Dirac Live system. Like other models in the series, the Arcam AVR5 has IMAX Enhanced certification, which indicates its excellent performance when used in a home theater. However, this AV receiver also copes well with music playback, which makes this model truly universal. The device is equipped with seven amplification channels, built according to the classic Hi-Fi circuitry of class A / B. The Arcam AVR5 power supply uses a powerful transformer, the energy of which is enough for the confident operation of the AV receiver even with a complex load.
This model is equipped with surround sound decoders in Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats, as well as other multi-channel sound standards. Thanks to the presence of additional outputs from the Arcam AVR5-based processor, it is possible to create systems in a configuration of up to 7.1.4 channels. The receiver is equipped with seven HDMI inputs and two outputs, with the ability to transmit 4K Ultra HD signals (HDCP 2.2) and support modern video technologies. To convert sound in the AV receiver, the ESS9026PRO DAC is used, which provides high detail and a wide dynamic range of musical compositions. Arcam AVR5 has a recognizable design with a high front panel, the central place on which is occupied by a contrasting display with large indicators.
For streaming music over the network, you can use Ethernet or Wi-Fi connections, while the Arcam AVR5 provides support for UPnP, Chromecast and AirPlay2 technologies. For convenient playback of music from mobile devices, the AV receiver has Bluetooth. The device has a full set of interfaces for embedding in installed systems, and you can use a mobile application to control it.
