Together with the ultra-compact wireless network amplifier Model M1, the Japanese company Marantz introduced a full-size multi-channel amplifier Model M 4 .
The new product, which, if necessary, can be mounted in a standard equipment rack, completely replicates the functionality of the Model M1, while providing eight 100-watt amplification channels (when operating at a load with a nominal impedance of 8 ohms) to create a distributed multiroom audio system in your home. That is, the Marantz Model M4 allows you to equip four rooms with a full-fledged stereo with four independent HEOS modules.
With an active cooling system that ensures stable performance even in confined spaces, and included rack-mount amplifier brackets, the Marantz Model M4 is the perfect complement to a HEOS-powered multi-room whole-home audio system. Pair it with other Model M4, Model M1 amplifiers, or any HEOS-enabled components to enjoy music anywhere in your home. Optical digital inputs and a built-in Dolby Digital decoder give you the ability to broadcast your TV’s sound throughout your home if you so choose.
Marantz says its new “ Model M 1 and Model M 4 deliver signature Marantz musicality , whether you’re listening to music, watching TV, or streaming music throughout the home . ”
The Marantz Model M 4 multi-channel amplifier is expected to be available soon. The recommended retail price of the new product in Europe is 3,500 euros.
