FiiO has launched the FiiO ESTICK Mini Power Bank, a compact battery specifically created for the FiiO KA 17 portable USB DAC/headphone amplifier, which was unveiled earlier this year. The FiiO KA17 is known for its small size and powerful performance, making a supplementary battery an essential accessory.
The FiiO KA17 is a portable USB DAC and headphone amplifier housed in a robust aluminum casing. It utilizes an XMOS processor, enabling it to handle digital PCM streams with specifications of up to 32 bit/768 kHz, as well as DSD formats up to DSD512 and MQA. This amplifier features an output stage built on THX AAA 78+ technology from THX Ltd., delivering a power output of up to 650 mW, making it compatible with a diverse array of headphones. For connectivity, it offers both an unbalanced 3.5 mm minijack output and a balanced Pentaconn 4.4 mm connector. Additionally, it includes an optical S/PDIF output and a USB-C port for source connection and battery charging.
To prevent excessive strain on your smartphone’s battery, FiiO Electronics Technology has introduced the FiiO ESTICK Mini Power Bank, specifically designed for the FiiO KA17. This power bank connects directly to the FiiO KA17 via USB-C, adding only a slight width to the device, allowing the combination to remain compact. The FiiO ESTICK Mini Power Bank features a 1,100 mAh battery that delivers 5 V and 0.6 A. According to the manufacturer, this battery can extend the operational time of the FiiO KA17 by up to five hours.
The FiiO ESTICK Mini Power Bank is set to launch shortly, with a recommended retail price of $19.99.
