Grado Labs has launched the Signature S750, a premium over-ear headphone with open earcups and an improved driver. The earcups have also been improved, and the Signature S750 features a detachable cable. With the updated S2 driver, improved comfort, and premium build quality, the Signature S750 is, according to the designers, specifically aimed at enthusiasts of high-quality wired headphones.
At the heart of the S750 is the new, completely redesigned 50-millimeter S2 driver. Featuring a carbon fiber and paper composite diaphragm and a lightweight, copper-plated aluminum voice coil, this driver delivers a natural musical presentation with definition and dynamic range. The specified frequency response extends from 6 Hz to 46 kHz, resulting in distortion of less than 0.2 percent at 100 dB SPL. The nominal impedance is 38 ohms.
Grado Labs Signature S750: improved detachable cable system
The S750 continues the Signature Line tradition of detachable cables, first introduced with the HP100 SE. The new Signature Gold braided design, supplied with a 1.8-meter cable with a 6.35mm jack plug, is softer, more durable, and lighter than before, while improved insulation increases flexibility.

Each cable connects to the headphone housing via a 4-pin balanced mini-XLR connector, allowing compatibility with current and future detachable Grado cables. Accessory cables are available in additional lengths and with source connections such as 4-pin balanced XLR and 4.4mm balanced jack.
Grado Labs Signature S750: introducing the new Grado B ear cushion
The new Grado B-pad debuts with the S750, a fresh approach to comfort and acoustic performance. Standard on the S750 and soon available as an accessory, the B-pads are compatible with all current Grado wired headphones.

The new ear cushion shortens the distance between the driver and the ear and introduces a smaller interior that redefines the acoustic balance. Eight precisely designed slots improve airflow, expanding the soundstage while preserving detail. The flat surface distributes pressure more evenly across the ear, reducing fatigue and creating a unique new sensation during long listening sessions.
Grado Labs Signature S750: comfort and durability refined
The S750’s all-aluminum chassis is handcrafted in Brooklyn, New York. Despite its robust construction, the S750 weighs just 460 grams, making it over ten percent lighter than the HP100 SE, while still offering the premium feel and durability that define the Signature Line.

The S750’s headband is identical to that of the Signature HP100 SE and S950, with a few subtle improvements. While the leather headband is slightly narrower, it’s still 50 percent fuller than previous Grado models, ensuring long-lasting comfort.

Designed for reliability, the construction features engraved aluminum alloy gimbals, stainless steel height adjustment, and reinforced aluminum linkage blocks. The limited 105-degree rotation reduces wear and maintains flexibility, improving both stability and long-term durability.
