FiiO has launched the latest version of its TWS adapter for wired headphones, the FiiO UTWS5 2025. This new model features the cutting-edge Qualcomm QCC5141 Bluetooth chip and two AK4332 DAC chips from Asahi Kasei. The 2025 version comes with a bunch of upgrades, including wireless charging, a 10-band equalizer, and plenty more.
The FiiO UTWS 5 2025 TWS adapter features the Qualcomm QCC5141 Bluetooth chip, which supports Bluetooth version 5.2. This means you can stream high-resolution audio at 24 bit / 96 kHz. It utilizes cutting-edge LDAC and aptX Adaptive codecs for top-notch sound quality. Plus, the adapter comes with options for both 2-pin 0.78 mm connectors and MMCX connectors.
The biggest change in the UTWS5 2025 version is that it now supports wireless charging. The adapters come with tiny charging inductors packed into a sleek case, which completely tackles the issue of copper oxidation on the charging connector and boosts the adapters’ longevity. Plus, the FiiO UTWS5 2025 features an automatic on/off function that activates when you take the earpieces out or put them back in the case. You can easily tweak the sound with a 10-band parametric equalizer, which includes seven preset tuning profiles and the option for a custom one. Managing the equalizer is a breeze with the FiiO Control mobile app.
FiiO UTWS5 2025 TWS adapters are now up for grabs, priced at $159.
