Onkyo TX-SR3100

The Onkyo TX-SR3100 is a complete home entertainment center and is designed for users who not only watch movies on the big screen, but also like to play computer games. The receiver supports HDMI 2.1a, 8K60 and 4K120, Dolby Atmos and DTS:X formats and Dolby Vision and HDR10+ technologies, providing bright and clear images and “life-like” colors. The Onkyo TX-SR3100 is equipped with five sound amplification channels, which are made using the same circuits from discrete elements.

Thanks to output stages capable of providing high current, as well as a powerful power supply, the receiver can successfully work even with large floor-standing speakers.

The Onkyo TX-SR3100 receiver is equipped with Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoders, which are not only capable of processing these formats in a 3.2.2 configuration, but also creating virtual surround sound from any Dolby track. This gives the multi-channel soundtrack additional expressiveness, creating the effect of being in a real cinema.

For easy surround sound setup, the Onkyo TX-SR3100 features AccuEQ auto-calibration with AccuReflex extension for precise processing of 3D formats. In addition, there are Vocal Enhancer and Music Optimizer DSP modes (the latter “restores” audio files to their original resolution). The manufacturer promises immersive sound “like in a movie theater” thanks to Dolby Atmos Height Virtualizer technology. There are sound timbre adjustments for low and high frequencies, as well as a Vocal Enhancer function for improving vocal transmission.

The Onkyo TX-SR3100 features four HDMI inputs supporting 8K video, HDR10 and Dolby Vision. At the same time, the Full HD signal can be converted to 8K, which increases the convenience of building a system.

The device also provides three linear, optical and coaxial inputs. Available in Onkyo TX-SR3100 and Bluetooth, complemented by a function to enhance sound quality. The AV receiver has outputs for headphones, two subwoofers and a second zone (Line Out). For convenient connection of media streamers (for example, Chromecast), on the rear panel of the AV receiver there is a USB power socket with a permissible load current of up to 1 Ampere.
