Pro-Ject Audio has launched another new turntable, the design of which is dedicated to a famous artist, and this time it’s Elvis Presley’s turn. The Elvis Turntable is a striking piece with its dimmable LED strips integrated into the chassis. It comes ready to play, complete with a dust cover, felt mat, tonearm, and Sumiko cartridge.

The Elvis Turntable is part of the company’s Artist Collection line, which also includes stylized turntables honoring the 50th anniversary of The Dark Side of the Moon album launch and a tribute to Metallica , in addition to several models honoring The Beatles and a model dedicated to Guns N’ Roses .
The Elvis Turntable has a striking and iconic LED design that you won’t easily miss. The lighting is dimmable for those who prefer to focus on the music, or for when there aren’t any guests to marvel at the Elvis Turntable.

The technology is based on Pro-Ject Audio’s T2 product line. In addition to the CNC-milled plinth and a 10mm-thick glass platter weighing 1.7 kilograms, the Elvis Turntable features a nine-inch aluminum tonearm with an adjustable spring mechanism and a Sumiko Rainier cartridge. As part of its zero-resonance design, the manufacturer also notes that specially selected feet effectively isolate the turntable from ambient vibrations. Let the King shake and rattle, not the turntable dedicated to him.

The belt-driven Elvis turntable uses the same electronically controlled, precision AC motor as the T2, instead of unregulated DC motors with large speed fluctuations, and is ready to run at 33 and 45 rpm in a low-noise, stable drive system. A dust cover, felt mat, and 45 rpm adapter are included. A high-quality, thoroughly shielded, semi-balanced RCA cable is also included.
The Pro-Ject Audio Elvis Turntable has a suggested retail price of just under 1,400 euros.
