Majority Moto: Affordable turntable with built-in phono stage

Majority has unveiled a new vinyl player designed to digitize vinyl records, introducing a cost-effective solution for music enthusiasts. Priced at an affordable $79.95, this vinyl player, dubbed the Moto, offers an exceptional value proposition. In the UK, the cost of vinyl records is such that for the price of this player, one might typically afford only a couple of albums, making the Moto an attractive option for those looking to preserve their vinyl collection digitally.

Equipped with a high-quality Audio Technica AT3600L MM cartridge, the Moto also features a built-in phono preamp, a Bluetooth wireless adapter for streaming, and a USB connector for the primary function of digitizing records. This versatile device supports three different rotation speeds—33, 45, and 78 rpm—to accommodate the various formats of vinyl records in circulation.

Furthermore, the addition of Bluetooth 5.3 technology, dedicated solely to output, allows users the flexibility to wirelessly connect speakers or headphones, enhancing the listening experience without the constraints of cables. This makes the Moto not just a tool for digitization but also a modern listening device that fits seamlessly into contemporary audio setups.

Scheduled for release in the UK on March 1st, the availability of the Moto vinyl player in markets outside of Britain remains uncertain. Majority's innovative approach to combining the nostalgic appeal of vinyl with the convenience of digital technology positions the Moto as a highly anticipated product among vinyl collectors and music lovers alike.
