The WiiM Sound Display is a new smart speaker with a screen that combines the functions of a multi-room system, a wireless streamer, and a home theater speaker. It features a three-way, 100-watt amplified system, including two tweeters and a 10-centimeter woofer. This allows it to be used as a standalone speaker or as part of a WiiM 5.1 system with the WiiM Sub Pro subwoofer.
The speaker supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 with the LC3 codec, Ethernet, and streaming technologies such as Chromecast, DLNA, Spotify Connect, and Tidal Connect. High-resolution audio streaming is possible at up to 24-bit/192 kHz. The WiiM Home app lets you customize your sound with a 10-band equalizer, parametric EQ with 24 profiles, and automatic room calibration.
The front panel features a round screen displaying current playback and settings, and a 4.5 cm touch panel on top for controlling volume, tracks, and pause. The device is compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant, making it a convenient control center for music and other smart home devices.
