Magnat has long been recognized as a reputable and forward-thinking manufacturer, renowned for developing speakers and components that offer a balanced blend of performance and affordability, as we’ve noted in our fairaudio reviews. Now, the company unveils its latest top-tier speaker.

Introducing the Magnat Signature 999

The external dimensions of the Signature 999 (standing at 1.22 meters tall and weighing 37.5 kilograms) already hint at its ambitious aspirations. As Magnat’s new flagship model, it boasts a level of technical sophistication that sets it apart as a truly advanced sound transducer.

The Magnat Signature 999 employs a sophisticated driver configuration, featuring two 20 cm cone speakers with sandwich membranes for low frequencies, a 17 cm midrange driver covering the range of 320 to 2200 Hertz, and three high-frequency drivers designed according to Art principles. These high-frequency drivers are arranged in a d’Appolito configuration on a separate baffle. Two 30 mm domes with linearized drivers and wide surrounds handle the midrange frequencies, while an additional 20 mm dome covers the super high-frequency range up to 55 kilohertz, with an upper -6 dB point at 42 kilohertz. The lower -6 dB point is 31 Hertz.

Magnat emphasizes that the crossover of the Signature 999 is equipped with top-quality components, and the internal cabling is made with oxygen-free copper (OFC-N4) and generous cross-sections.
