Bärbox is a new German loudspeaker manufacturer and the company’s first product is the floorstanding passive two-way loudspeaker B.01. The housing of the B.01 is made of solid wood and the bass port is placed on the bottom. The craftsmanship takes place in Germany.
Bärbox B.01: two-way bass reflex loudspeaker
The Bärbox B.01 has a unique design and is hand-built in Germany, according to Christian Fischer, founder of Bärbox. With meticulous attention to detail and careful craftsmanship, this first product from the German manufacturer combines crystal-clear sound with the pleasant feel and appearance of solid wood.
The B.01 impresses with a clear sound without disturbing distortion or coloration. A specially developed horn-shaped waveguide for the tweeter milled into the baffle ensures that you hear every detail of your music. The woofer with its special natural fiber cone and downward-facing bass reflex port provides a rich foundation at the low end of the spectrum.
Bärbox B.01: handmade from solid wood
The wooden bars on the front are more than just protection for the drivers. They are a deliberate design element that emphasizes the elegant lines of the speaker. Each individual part is sanded and oiled by hand to emphasize the natural wood grain. The cabinet, made of carefully selected woods, and the many fine details give the B.01 its distinctive appearance.
