TempoTec Variations V1 is a new portable player that combines the functions of a stand-alone music source, an external DAC and a Bluetooth adapter. The device plays high-resolution files from a memory card, including DSD256, and can be used as a sound card for a smartphone or laptop, improving sound quality thanks to the built-in dual DAC CS43131 and amplifier. In Bluetooth receiver mode, the V1 receives a signal from a phone via LDAC, providing transmission without significant losses, and in transmitter mode it can broadcast music to TWS headphones.
Special attention in the player is paid to the digital part: FPGA with two high-precision crystals is used, which increases the stability and accuracy of audio signal processing. The system also has a 10-band parametric equalizer with frequency range adjustment and presets optimized for different genres and types of headphones. TempoTec V1 supports streaming via TIDAL, Qobuz and AirPlay, combining an offline library with modern streaming services. The compact body, color screen and versatility make it a convenient solution for both home use and travel.
