Lorenzo Audio Labs has launched a new product line called the Bravo Collection, and the first member has been named The Essence. The Essence is a two-way bass-reflex monitor loudspeaker and is the most compact loudspeaker from Lorenzo Audio Labs to date.
The Bravo Collection is, by its own account, born from the Lorenzo Audio Labs design team's obsession with pushing the boundaries of high-quality sound reproduction. With the earlier Classic Collection loudspeakers, the manufacturer achieved unprecedented realism and emotion in music reproduction. According to the designers, they worked tirelessly to raise the bar even higher and offer a new level of sound quality as was never before possible.

To achieve this, the manufacturer has developed its own working methodology called the “Resonance Optimization System” (ROS). This methodology is based on the analysis, evaluation, measurement, and optimization of the resonances occurring within the wooden speaker enclosures, and the proper way to utilize them to enrich the listening experience of Lorenzo Audio speakers. The enclosures, bass reflex ports, and accessories are made from tonewoods of varying thicknesses to make optimal use of their resonances, thereby naturally enriching the music reproduction and providing unparalleled listening pleasure.

“At Lorenzo Audio, we design and perfect our loudspeakers as if they were musical instruments. We achieve an unparalleled level of realism and detail, without hearing fatigue, and with dynamics, pleasure, and emotion,” says Lorenzo Audio Labs.
Cabinet construction and materials

The loudspeaker and the accompanying stand are made of 21 mm phenolic plywood, with additional Panzerholz components at key structural locations. The enclosure is finished with a natural wood veneer, where elements such as the front bass reflex port are crafted from tonewood and finished using traditional guitar-making techniques, including marquetry and shellac polishing.
Drivers and crossover
The two-way system features a 7.5-inch carbon fiber woofer and a 3/4-inch soft dome tweeter. The crossover filter is hand-soldered without a printed circuit board and is built into the included stand. The components are sourced from manufacturers such as Duelund, Mundorf, Jantzen, and Pathaudio, and the internal wiring is made of high-quality copper.
The Lorenzo Audio The Essence has a stated sensitivity of 88 dB and a nominal impedance of 8 Ohms. The stated frequency range extends from 33 Hz to 25 kHz, with a recommended amplifier power between 30 and 300 Watts. Each speaker, including the stand, is 111 centimeters tall and weighs 25 kilograms. The manufacturer offers various finishes.

Lorenzo Audio has confirmed that there are plans for more models in the Bravo Collection, and that more announcements are expected soon. The company will also present its products at High End Vienna 2026.
