DALI Launches Sonik Series: Seven New Loudspeakers Arrive in 2026

Danish loudspeaker manufacturer Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries (DALI) has developed a new product line called Sonik. According to the designers, the Sonik product line is designed to redefine performance, design, and accessibility for music and home theater enthusiasts. The Sonik product line comes in four finishes and will be available from early February 2026.

The Sonik series represents the most significant evolution in DALI’s groundbreaking approach since the introduction of the award-winning Oberon series in 2018. With the Sonik series, DALI once again delivers high-quality loudspeakers for all music and movie enthusiasts. Just as the Oberon series exceeded expectations and became a global market leader in its class, the Sonik series continues this almost ten-year legacy.

“DALI makes speakers for everyone, from Kupid to Kore and everything in between, from hi-fi and home cinema to wireless speakers and headphones. Our sound and design principles have always been most evident to music lovers in the Sonik price range, and we believe the series sets a new benchmark for performance in this price range. We are thrilled to launch Sonik globally and look forward to attracting even more DALI fans in 2026,” said Krestian Pedersen, Head of Product Management at DALI.

Seven models to choose from

The members of the DALI Sonik series enter the market as the company’s most complete and progressive product lineup to date. With seven models covering every use case (from compact stereo systems to full-fledged home theaters), Sonik targets two key target groups: the seasoned audiophile and the design-conscious newcomer to the world of hi-fi sound.

The series fits seamlessly into DALI’s product portfolio and is uniquely designed to deliver class-leading performance, thanks to innovations derived from the flagship DALI Kore, Epikore, and Epicon series. These improvements include an improved driver design, advanced magnet technologies, and a refined cabinet design, all brought together in a series that is attractive, accessible, and easy to integrate into any home.

Technology

The DALI Sonik loudspeakers offer a significant improvement in detail, dynamics, and musicality for the asking price. This is made possible by key patented technologies, including:

  • An ultra-light 29mm soft dome tweeter designed for minimal loss, wide dispersion and a remarkably coherent upper midrange, supported by a newly developed aluminium front baffle for improved bandwidth and performance.
  • The DALI Hybrid Tweeter System featured in the Sonik 7 and Sonik 9. This combines a 29 mm dome tweeter with a 17 x 45 mm planar magnetostatic tweeter, combining dynamic precision with refined high-frequency reproduction. This hybrid setup delivers exceptional high-frequency dispersion and detail.
  • Low-loss bass and midrange drivers, available in 5¼-inch and 7-inch versions, feature DALI’s Clarity Cone membrane structure, made of paper and wood fibers. This combination ensures effortless dynamics and natural midrange reproduction, while minimizing coloration.
  • DALI’s proprietary SMC Essential Magnet System. This patented architecture technology, derived from the Epicon series, drastically reduces third-order harmonic distortion through a hybrid design of iron and SMC magnet pole pieces. Its efficiency and low loss give Sonik a refinement typically found only in loudspeakers in a much higher price range.
  • The dual-flare bass reflex ports are optimized for timing, low turbulence, and clean low-frequency reproduction. The On-Wall and Cinema models feature special wall-mounting configurations and front-firing bass reflex ports, making them easy to install.

These technologies come together to deliver DALI’s signature qualities of clarity, holographic imaging, low loss, and wide dispersion, ensuring Sonik’s sound remains open, dynamic and emotionally engaging at any listening level.
