Wavell has introduced the 5 Signature, a closed-back wireless over-ear headphone built around a dual-driver system, hybrid adaptive noise cancellation and long battery life. Its feature set also includes Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint pairing, five microphones and sound customization through the Wavell Connect app.

Two drivers divide the frequency range
Each earcup contains a 40mm dynamic bass driver alongside a separate 26mm treble driver. Rather than asking one transducer to cover the entire range, Wavell assigns bass and lower midrange reproduction primarily to the larger driver, while the smaller unit handles the upper midrange and treble.
The headphones have a specified frequency response of 20Hz to 20kHz and use a closed acoustic construction. Users can adjust the presentation through the Wavell Connect app, which provides an equalizer and selectable sound profiles for different content and preferences.

Adaptive ANC and five-microphone call system
The Wavell 5 Signature uses hybrid adaptive active noise cancellation that responds automatically to surrounding conditions. Awareness and Transparency modes are available when users need to hear announcements, conversations or other nearby sounds without removing the headphones.
Five integrated microphones support voice calls, with Environmental Noise Cancellation intended to reduce the effect of background sound on speech pickup. Wavell advises against using active noise cancellation around road traffic or in comparable situations where environmental awareness is important.
Operation is handled through physical buttons rather than touch-sensitive panels. The model does not include automatic playback pausing when the headphones are removed.
Bluetooth 6.0, multipoint and low-latency video
Wireless connectivity is based on Bluetooth 6.0 with AAC and SBC codec support. Multipoint allows the headphones to remain connected to two devices at once, making it possible to move between a computer and phone without repeatedly establishing a new connection.
A Movie Mode available through the companion app reduces stated latency to 60ms for video and gaming applications. USB is used for charging, but the headphones do not support audio playback over USB.
Battery life is rated at up to 60 hours with active noise cancellation enabled and as much as 120 hours with ANC switched off. A complete charge takes approximately two hours. When time is limited, a 10-minute quick charge can provide up to 10 hours of playback with ANC disabled.

Foldable construction designed for extended wear
The 5 Signature weighs approximately 300 grams and uses an adjustable headband with earcups that rotate across three axes. Its replaceable memory-foam earpads are covered in synthetic leather, while the fully foldable structure is intended to make storage and transport easier.
A USB-C charging cable and user manual are included with the headphones. A wall charger and audio cable are not supplied. The Wavell 5 Signature is listed in gray, and the product information also indicates that additional finishes are available.

With separate drivers for different parts of the frequency range, adaptive ANC, app-based tuning and unusually long quoted battery life, the Wavell 5 Signature enters the wireless over-ear category with a broad set of everyday features. Its foldable design, replaceable earpads and multipoint support further emphasize portable and long-term use.
