SMSL D12 is a compact and high-performance DAC that uses AKM AK4493S digital-to-analog conversion chip to deliver dynamic, musical and accurate sound. This chip, combined with the advanced XMOS XU316 USB interface, also allows support for high-resolution audio streams up to PCM 32bit 768kHz, DSD512, as well as decoding MQA files.
When it comes to connectivity, the D12 is simple and efficient, with USB-C input and Bluetooth 5.0 wireless connectivity. Output is via RCA or via the 6.35mm headphone jack on the front panel.
