These headphones mix Sonion low-frequency drivers with Knowles high-frequency ones, supported by a four-way crossover and a multi-channel acoustic design. Valhalla took over two years to develop, resulting from a worldwide effort aimed at enhancing technical performance and sound accuracy. These headphones incorporate the latest THIEAUDIO innovations, blending advancements from the past five years to fully utilize the drivers’ potential for a rich and balanced audio experience.

Each Valhalla channel features four Sonion 38D1XJ007 low-frequency drivers, ten Sonion E50DT0005 low-midrange drivers, four Knowles RDE 33729 mid-high frequency drivers, and one Knowles WBFK 30095 ultra-high frequency driver. This driver setup ensures high-resolution sound and precision across all frequency ranges.

The Precision Bass System technology creates a subwoofer-like effect within the compact design of the in-ear headphones. It employs a resonant chamber and a low-pass filter to deliver deep bass from 5 to 20 Hz, with a smooth roll-off at 200 Hz. Plus, the inclusion of a pressure relief valve enhances comfort and minimizes fatigue during extended listening sessions.

The headphones feature a four-way crossover and a multi-channel acoustic setup that fine-tunes the sound perfectly. There’s a 10-dB bass shelf that sharply rolls off at 200 Hz, keeping those low frequencies nice and clean. These headphones come with an EliteNoir cable that features a mix of silver and oxygen-free copper conductors, with 5N and 4N ratings, all coated in silver. The cable boasts 161 conductors, a 20AWG specification, and uses Mundorf Supreme solder to keep signal loss to a minimum.
