TCL excels not only in the television sector but also in audio technology. Its recent partnership with Bang & Olufsen is significant. The company is gearing up to introduce two large soundbars, anticipated to arrive in January.
The models are the Q85 and Q75, featuring Dolby Atmos and DTS:X capabilities, with 7.1.4 and 5.1.2 channel configurations, respectively.
The TCL Q85 is equipped with 15 speakers, comprising 4 two-way and 7 one-way units, and incorporates patented Ray•Danz technology. This innovative design utilizes passive radiators and side-mounted drivers to create an expansive soundstage.

In contrast, the TCL Q75 features 11 speakers, including 3 two-way and 5 one-way configurations. It also employs Ray•Danz technology, allowing sound to emanate from the edges for enhanced audio coverage.
Both soundbars are equipped with AI Sonic-Adaptation, an automatic system for correcting room acoustics, which guarantees excellent sound quality regardless of your seating position.
The TCL Q85 delivers a total power output of 860W, whereas the TCL Q75 offers 620W. Both models include various sound modes such as Surround, Movie, Music, Game, Voice, and Sport, allowing you to tailor the audio experience to the content you are viewing.

The subwoofers for both the Q85 and Q75 are wireless, with the Q85 additionally featuring wireless two-channel rear speakers. One speaker is designed to project sound upwards (atmos), while the other faces the listening area, creating a 1.0.1 channel configuration.
Furthermore, both soundbars support Bluetooth (SBC, AAC), Wi-Fi, and AirPlay 2 for seamless streaming from online sources. They also include a USB port for playing music files in formats such as MP3, WAV, Flac, and WMA.
Both models support HDMI eARC for a direct connection to a television, ensuring low latency for gaming. There is an additional HDMI port for connecting a gaming console, along with an optical digital input.
The Q85 and Q75 are both nearly one meter in length. The primary distinction between the two is that the Q85 includes rear surround speakers, while the Q75 does not.
