Shanling EC3 is a CD player that stands out at first glance thanks to its compact dimensions: only 188mm wide, 255mm deep and 68mm high. High quality components
The EC3 combines the superior Philips CD80 drive mechanism with the renowned Sanyo HD850 laser head, all supported by the Ingenic X2000 microprocessor. High-quality components, widely recognized by audiophiles and music lovers, provide very good CD playback quality and durability.
The screen is as beautiful as it is practical.
The front panel of the Shanling EC3 features a beautiful round color display. It displays real-time information about playback, selected source or volume level. Also, if the file being played comes from a USB storage device and there is album art, it will be displayed on the screen. The screen also allows you to access all of the player’s settings.
Control App, USB and Bluetooth
Shanling E3 can also be controlled remotely from a smartphone via the free Shanling Controller mobile app. Additionally, there is a USB-A port on the front of the player, allowing you to connect a storage device such as a USB flash drive or external hard drive.
In addition to playing CDs and files from a USB device, the EC3 provides Bluetooth 5.0 reception. This means you can stream music remotely, for example directly from your smartphone or tablet. Support for the LDAC data codec also allows you to enjoy superior audio quality over wireless communications.
Comprehensive Output
The Shanling EC3 CD player is equipped with a particularly comprehensive output connector system. We find stereo RCA for the analogue part and optical Toslink and coaxial for the digital part. This connector is complemented by an amplified headphone output on the front panel 3.5mm jack.
