Shanling M3X is the latest portable player from the company. Built on the same platform as the previous three Android player models, this time it is aimed at the more affordable end of the market, with a slightly less focus on the most demanding DAC chipsets and the most powerful amplifiers. The M3X was designed as a smaller version of Shanling’s flagship M8 to be a more practical and compact player, with a 4.2-inch touch screen. It’s 25% smaller and lighter than their older M6 and M6 Pro players.

Shanling M3X

Shanling M3X is the first Hi-Res player to use the new ESS Saber ES9219 DAC/AMP chip, a new generation of the very popular chip previously used in M0, UP4 and other Shanling products. Using two of these chips provides a balanced 4.4mm output, improving sound and increasing power. And also works with MQA, for all fans of Hi-Res music streaming. The M3X will feature best-in-class battery life, delivering up to 24 hours of playback on a single charge.
