The M17 project began back in 2019 and was expected to be announced at the end of 2020. But due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the development process was put on hold and we got an announcement date of August 2021. Now FiiO is ready to launch the M17 as its latest flagship player. No, it won’t replace the current line-up, rather FiiO has designed the M17 to create a strong foothold in FiiO’s line-up of Android music players alongside the M15 and M11 Plus. FiiO M17 is more like a portable source, equipped with dual ES9038Pro DAC chipset and desktop-grade THX AAA-788 amplifier module, 5.99-inch Full HD 1080P LCD display and many other advanced features.
