Rotel RAS-5000: Integrated amplifier with streamer and DAC unit

Rotel has introduced an expanded and improved solution for audio playback tasks with the release of the new Rotel RAS-5000 integrated stereo amplifier . The Rotel RAS-5000 features exceptional sound quality and high output power that effortlessly plays your favorite music via Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Airplay 2, Google Cast, Qobuz and thousands of Internet radio stations, while expanding connectivity with HDMI ARC .

The switching arsenal of the Rotel RAS-5000 amplifier also includes an analog input on RCA connectors, digital coaxial, optical, a USB-B port for connecting to a computer and wireless Bluetooth with support for the aptX HD codec.

High-resolution music files (up to 32-bit/384 kHz) and MQA audio files are reproduced with extreme precision thanks to Rotel’s custom-designed digital section, equipped with premium DAC chips from ESS Technology. HDMI ARC connectivity expands the Rotel RAS-5000’s capabilities by delivering high-definition audio for your favorite TV shows, movies and games directly from your TV.

Sound quality is guaranteed by the careful selection of high-quality components, including a traditional, large-sized toroidal power transformer designed by Rotel, which allows the RAS-5000 to effortlessly deliver a stable output power of 220 W when driven into a rated 4-ohm load. The output stages of the amplifier are made of transistors and operate in class AB.

The specially designed power supply delivers ultra-low noise levels across all critical circuits at high currents to the amplifier’s output transistors, resulting in deep, controlled bass and exceptional fidelity.
