To celebrate its centennial anniversary, Danish lifestyle and audio brand Bang & Olufsen presents The Centennial Collection, a special edition of existing products inspired by the brand’s heritage and paying tribute to a century of uncompromising design and sound. Drawing on decades of design inspiration, the Centennial Collection combines archival details with contemporary craftsmanship and reimagines three iconic Bang & Olufsen products: Beoplay H100, Beosound A5, and Beosound A9 5th Gen.

The collection celebrates the defining decades of Bang & Olufsen’s history. From the checkered grille patterns of early radios to the vibrant 1970s color palette of Century Red, Chestnut Brown, and Century Blue, every detail captures the spirit of that era. Brushed aluminum surfaces, perfected in the 1980s, reflect the raw beauty of the brand’s signature materials, while refined leather accents and precision-turned dials reflect the design codes of the past decade. Each piece in the collection is finished with the B&O Est. 1925 Anniversary logo and pays tribute to the vision of founders Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen: “An unfailing will to create only the best.”
Beoplay H100 Century Brown
The Beoplay H100 combines immersive sound with a timeless design. Optimized for Dolby Atmos, the headphones feature titanium drivers and advanced Active Noise Cancelling for an optimal listening experience. The Century Red leather headband beautifully complements the chestnut brown inner band, combined with chestnut brown leather ear cushions and refined Century Blue details for a vibrant contrast.
The natural silver glass disc features the anniversary logo, while a matching Century Red leather case with Century Blue accents completes the design, creating a contemporary collectible with an archival feel.
Beosound A5 Century Weave
The Beosound A5 is a powerful portable speaker with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, a long battery life, and built-in wireless charging, designed for effortless listening at home or on the go. This special edition features woven paper raffia in beige and maroon, a reinterpretation of the iconic checkered speaker grilles of the 1950s and echoing the textures of Bang & Olufsen’s early radios. A brushed aluminum frame, a Century Red leather strap, and anniversary engravings emphasize the craftsmanship, while the Century Blue cable adds a touch of playful vitality.
Beosound A9 Century Blue
An icon of minimalist design, Beosound A9 combines a sculptural form with room-filling sound powered by seven precisely tuned drivers. This updated version is upholstered in Kvadrat’s Centennial Cadence fabric, a striking checked weave in Century Blue and Chestnut Brown that creates a dynamic, contemporary look. The natural aluminum ring and legs are finished with a heritage-inspired brushed finish, reminiscent of Bang & Olufsen’s iconic aesthetic from the 1980s. Anniversary engravings honor the founders’ enduring vision, while the striking Century Blue feet and cable add a vibrant finishing touch.
