Japanese headphone manufacturer Final Audio has announced the A10000 in-ear headphones, a new high-end in-ear model with a detachable cable that, according to the manufacturer, combines technology and design at the highest level. A Collector’s Edition with a gold finish is also available. This latter version is technically identical but limited in quantity.
Final Audio A10000

At the heart of the Final Audio A10000 is a “True Diamond” diaphragm, created by crystallization on silicon. After removing the silicon, an extremely stiff yet ultra-thin film remains, which transmits sound waves with exceptional precision. According to Final Audio’s engineers, this reduces distortion in the driver to a level that poses a challenge to measuring instruments rather than to listeners.
In addition to the diaphragm, Final Audio uses a specially developed polyurethane surround that remains elastic, ages slowly, and prevents resonance peaks. The diaphragm and surround are bonded without adhesive using a combined pneumatic and thermal process. According to the manufacturer, this production method guarantees consistent weight and stiffness. The dual-layer wound voice coil is made of highly conductive material and is precisely positioned to ensure stability and reproducibility.

According to Final Audio, the low frequencies in particular benefit from the design: below 100 Hz, distortion drops to less than one-hundredth that of previous models. In everyday listening, this should result in clearly defined bass, powerful yet controlled drum sounds, and fine resolution in the highs.
Final Audio A10000: Earphones with a watchmaker’s finish
The A10000 earpieces are crafted from precision-milled stainless steel. This provides a stable base for the driver and minimizes vibration. The “Côtes de Genève” finish originates from watchmaking and, according to the manufacturer, serves more than just a visual purpose: the textured surface offers a more favorable acoustic effect than a smooth, polished surface. Screw fasteners largely replace adhesive, simplifying maintenance and helping to maintain the structural integrity of the components over time.
Final Audio A10000: Collector’s Edition with gold finish

For those who love bling, Final Audio is also releasing the A10000 as a limited Collector’s Edition. This gold-colored version is limited to 300 numbered units worldwide. The Collector’s Edition comes in a paulownia wood box, including a foldable “Suzumi plate” that can be used for display or storage.
