The Professional Power 12V is designed for use with Clearaudio’s Concept and Performance DC turntables, while the Professional Power 24V replaces the previous version for the company’s Innovation and Ovation models. The new Clearaudio Professional Power 12V and Professional 24V are transformer-based, stabilised power supplies that are being touted as significant improvements on the standard designs supplied with the brands’ turntables. The new power supplies sit in Clearaudio’s portfolio under the flagship Smart Power range.

According to the designers, both Professional Powers provide improved filtering, cleaner power and more headroom, which should result in smoother turntable motor performance. The resulting improvements in sound quality are significant, according to Clearaudio.
