Just launched by SVS, the 1000 Pro series of subwoofers offers “significant improvements in driver, amplifier, cabinet and overall user experience” over previous versions.
The subwoofers can be fine-tuned from a downloadable mobile app over Bluetooth, like the SVS’s monstrous flagship, the 16-Ultra.
At the heart of the 1000 Pro Series is the powerful and sophisticated Sledge STA-325D amplifier, which combines the high output current of discrete MOSFETs with Class D efficiency.
With an impressive 325W RMS and 820+ W peak power with vanishingly low distortion, it maintains precise driver control. The 1000 Pro Series subwoofers have precise frequency response.
The input to the Sledge amplifier is an Analog Devices 50MHz 56-bit filtered audio processor, the most advanced DSP.
The drivers in the SVS 1000 Pro subwoofer are an all-new design with a double ferrite magnet and long travel parabolic suspension for extreme excursions. The picture is completed by a light and rigid aluminum ventilated diffuser with a composite fiber dust cap.
New products are already available on the SVS website.
