Sonus Faber has unveiled its first outdoor speaker system, the Sonus Faber Aster , at ISE 2023 in Barcelona . The novelty, according to the manufacturer, is able to provide Sonus Faber signature sophisticated sound even outdoors in any weather.

The Sonus Faber Aster acoustic system expanded the Sonus Faber Custom Installation Collection series of installation acoustics. This is a passive two-way system, equipped with a 5.81″ woofer/midrange driver and a 1.07″ dome tweeter. The return in the low-frequency region is fixed by two passive radiators located on the side walls of the case.

The nominal impedance of the Sonus Faber Aster is 8 ohms (minimum 6 ohms) with a sensitivity of 88 dB. The frequency range extends from 70 Hz to 20 kHz at a level of -3 dB. The manufacturer recommends using a speaker with a 100 watt amplifier.

The Sonus Faber Aster speaker system is compact (20.5 x 19 x 29.34 cm) and weighs 4.16 kg. IP65 certification for water and dust resistance ensures that the speaker will work properly even in the rain. The speaker comes with a wall-mounted aluminum bracket that can be attached to the wall with just one screw. The suspension allows you to adjust the column tilt within 15 degrees.

The speaker comes in black or white finish. The Sonus Faber Aster will go on sale in the spring of 2023.
