The KEF LSX II is a wireless speaker that is already available in different colours, allowing it to fit seamlessly into any living environment. The latest colour is Solaris Yellow, which does not blend in discreetly with the interior but rather tries to attract attention with its bright, radiant yellow colour. The KEF LSX II Limited Edition Solaris Yellow comes in a limited edition.
KEF LSX II Limited Edition Solaris Yellow
Until now, KEF has offered the KEF LSX II in quite striking colours. In addition to the more subtle colours such as Carbon Black and Mineral White, but also Olive Green and Soundwave by Terence Conran, the speaker system is also available in Cobalt Blue and Lava Red. The latest colour also stands out clearly in any environment. After all, speakers are usually not bright yellow. The speaker seems to demand attention.
Technically, nothing has changed compared to the previous colour editions. Also read our review of the KEF LSX II . The 11th generation KEF Uni-Q chassis are based around the DSP-based signal processing of the KEF Music Integrity Engine and Class D amplifier modules. They deliver a system power of 200 watts and deliver an impressively detailed, dynamic performance.
The KEF LSX II Limited Edition Solaris Yellow uses the KEF W2 Wireless Platform, allowing it to be connected directly to a network via UTP cable or WiFi. It supports streaming via Apple AirPlay 2, Google Cast and UPnP and is also Roon Ready. In addition, the KEF Connect app for Apple iOS and Google Android provides direct access to a wide range of streaming providers, including Amazon Music, Apple Music, Qobuz, TIDAL, Spotify, Deezer and internet radio.
For the source devices there is an HDMI interface with ARC and HDMI CEC, an optical S/PDIF interface, a USB-C port and an analogue input in the form of a 3.5 mm stereo jack plug. Of course, Bluetooth connectivity is not missing. KEF has fitted Bluetooth 5.0. For extra low tones, the KEF LXS II has a subwoofer output (cinch).
