At the High End Show 2023 in Munich, the German company AVM , known for its uncompromising electronic audio components , presented the AVM Audition CB 2.3 compact two-way monitors . This is the company’s first experience in designing acoustic systems.
The AVM Audition CB 2.3 are compact two-way monitors that combine the technical expertise of renowned speaker specialist Karl-Heinz Fink with AVM’s vision of sound quality and design. The sleek, uncluttered lines of the Audition CB 2.3 allow the 345 x 238 x 230 mm glossy lacquered cabinet with an anodized silver aluminum front panel to fit into most sophisticated interiors.
The two-way bass reflex design includes a 160mm woofer and a fabric diaphragm dome tweeter. The crossover frequency is set quite low – at a frequency of 1850 Hz. The operating frequency range of the monitors extends from 37 Hz to 50 kHz, the sensitivity is 88 dB / 1 W (2.83 V), and the declared power is 140 watts. The model supports two-cable connection.
The AVM Audition CB 2.3 aluminum front panel, which protrudes beyond the dimensions of the speaker cabinet, allows you to optimally adjust the direction of the emission of sound waves, for example, when placing speakers below the ideal listening level.
Acoustic systems AVM Audition CB 2.3 are offered in black and white finishes. The speakers come with protective grills on magnetic mounts. The monitors will go on sale in Europe at the end of June for a suggested retail price of 2,990 euros .
