The device has a reliable design that guarantees its stable operation for a long time. The output amplifiers of all channels of the Yamaha HTR-2071 are made on discrete elements and develop significant current for full-fledged work with various acoustics. Yamaha HTR-2071 supports HD formats of surround sound and is equipped with a proprietary Cinema DSP processor to create a convincing acoustic space in various rooms. With the help of 17-mode DSP, you can give an individual coloring to the sound of various content, for example, sports competitions or movies.

Even when it is not possible to install surround speakers behind the listening position, the Virtual Cinema DSP function produces virtual 5-channel surround sound filled with realism with two front speakers. With Virtual Cinema Front, you will enjoy virtual 5-channel surround sound with higher quality and resolution by installing surround speakers in the front. You get more flexibility to place the speakers in the room, and also simply enjoy high-quality surround sound.

Exclusive sound enhancement technology delivers richer bass than you would expect from the speaker size, while maintaining good localization and sound balance even when using compact front speakers. When a subwoofer is used, it improves the volume of the entire low range of the speaker system not only the front speakers, but also enhances the bass from the subwoofer. You will enjoy videos and music with sound that has exceptional power and presence.

The Subwoofer Trim control improves the low frequencies by avoiding overlap with the front speaker output. This will result in a cleaner, more focused sound stage while providing a uniform frequency response. When subwoofer frequency overlap occurs in conventional systems, the overall sound is “pushed” towards the subwoofer. Subwoofer Trim takes care of this by separating the low frequencies of the woofer, thereby stabilizing the front stage, providing a balanced, improved bass sound.

The AV receiver can be supplemented with a Bluetooth adapter for easy connection of various mobile devices. Thus, music from various on-line services can be transmitted to the speakers of the AV system. To achieve the best sound, the Yamaha HTR-2071 has a technology for improving the quality of compressed sound.
