A disc player and television recorder in one component

The DMR-4X1010 can play 4K Blu-ray, standard Blu-ray and DVD discs, giving it compatibility with several generations of optical video media. Panasonic has also equipped the unit with television recording functions, positioning it as more than a conventional standalone disc player.

This combination is intended to bring movie playback and recorded television together in a single home cinema component. Users can turn to physical discs for packaged content while keeping television recordings on the recorder’s internal storage, compatible recordable media or supported cloud services.

A 10TB hard drive anchors the recording system
