The Denon AVR-X2700H AV receiver is a further development of the younger model and has increased output power and expanded connectivity options. At the same time, the main feature of the AV receiver remains the same – high-quality sound and a full set of modern functions for a more than reasonable price.
The Denon AVR-X2700H has a 7.2 configuration, while the amplifiers of all its channels are made on discrete elements and develop a high output current. The device is equipped with six HDMI inputs and two outputs. Another HDMI feature in this model is eARC technology, which provides a return audio channel with HD and 3D sound. Full support for 8K/60 Hz and 4K/120 Hz is provided for video. A separate HDMI input and two outputs are allocated for the 8K signal in the switching. At the same time, upscaling of the image resolution to 8K is available on all six HDMI inputs. The Denon AVR-X2700H receiver supports HDR formats, including HDR10, the new HDR10+ and Dynamic HDR, as well as HLG and Dolby Vision. Fans of dynamic games will benefit from the high refresh rate of 4K/120Hz with the ability to Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), Automatic Low Latency Mode (ALLM) and other technologies that will allow you not to miss anything during the game.
The AV receiver is equipped with the Audyssey MultEQ XT automatic home theater calibration system with an external microphone. For streaming music playback and integration into the multi-room system, the Denon AVR-X2700H is equipped with the proprietary HEOS technology. It allows you to play music tracks from various services, as well as available network devices. Connection is possible both via Ethernet and Wi-Fi. If the AV receiver is connected to the multi-room system, the sound from the TV can be transmitted to any room in the house. Also on the list of Denon AVR-X2700H features are Bluetooth and AirPlay2 technologies. You can use the proprietary mobile application to control the AV receiver.
Network streaming functions allow you to receive content from services such as Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Tidal, Deezer and many others. Another new feature in the Denon AVR-X2700H is support for Google Assistant and Apple Siri voice systems, which are constantly growing in popularity. The Denon AVR-X2700H AV receiver is equipped with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and DTS Virtual:X 3D and HD surround sound decoders, and also has Dolby Atmos Height Virtualization technology to create a surround sound picture when listening to regular content.
Thanks to a powerful DSP, the sound picture has high detail with accurate placement of images and natural tonal balance. As for digital audio processing, the Denon AVR-X2700H is equipped with an AKM DAC and is ready to decode ALAC, FLAC and WAV files at a speed of up to 24 bit / 192 kHz. It is also DSD 2.8/5.6 MHz ready, and can play from storage devices via the front USB port or from network sources. The receiver also supports audio transmission to Bluetooth headphones.
