The beautiful 4.3” OLED screen displays song and artist cover art, while the BRM-1 remote control and MOONLink connectivity make control and integration into the full MOON system a pleasure. MHV (MOON Hybrid Volume) technology uses a clever combination of digital attenuation and analog gain levels for high-performance volume control when the 681 is not connected to a MOON preamp, without compromising the audio signal in the digital domain.
At the heart of the 681 is the MDE1, a reclocked FPGA with an innovative DAC implementation for audio conversion with industry-leading accuracy. Equipped with the MiND2 network player, the 681 accesses music from TIDAL, Qobuz, Deezer and HighResAudio, is compatible with Bluetooth, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect and TIDAL Connect, is Roon ready, decodes all two-channel digital music formats including MQA and DSD, and can Sync with other MiND2 products to create a whole home experience!
