The Onkyo Icon C-30 CD player combines advanced technology with a sleek, modern aesthetic, making it, according to its makers, a true eye-catcher in the Icon series. The C-30 features Onkyo’s patented Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC), which uses advanced algorithms to eliminate pulse noise, ensuring pure, distortion-free analog output. Combined with a high-quality 24-bit/192 kHz DAC, the CD player delivers crystal-clear playback.
With an S/N ratio of 107 dB, the Icon C-30 offers an exceptionally quiet background, resulting in rich, detailed sound reproduction. The extremely accurate clock speed of +/-10 ppm ensures precise timing and a stable stereo image, resulting in an immersive listening experience. The player’s vibration-resistant, blasted aluminum front panel minimizes resonance and further enhances the purity of the sound. Analog music signal is output via a RCA connector. Furthermore, the Icon C-30 can be used as a CD drive for an external DAC, for which an optical and coaxial (RCA) connection are fitted.
