iBasso DX320 Edition X: Limited version of the player

To celebrate the 10th anniversary of the DX320 and the 16th anniversary of the brand, iBasso is releasing a limited edition of just 500 pieces of the beautiful DX320 Edition X ! This brand new version features a different design, made from a metal alloy with a “liquid” effect. With soft lines and curves that intersect and merge with each other, the DX320 Edition X offers an innovative, decidedly modern aesthetic, the look of which was patented by the brand in 2020.

Otherwise, the DX320 Edition X shares the superior internal architecture of the standard version. As a high-end digital music player, the iBasso DX320 Edition X has an extremely thoughtful design designed to provide the best audio performance for an outstanding music experience. Powerful and feature-packed, the DX320 Edition X is the ideal companion for listening to music at home or on the go.

At the heart of the DX320 Edition X is an FPGA-Master designed specifically for these models. The role of the FPGA-Master is to reconstruct the audio data transmitted by the SoC to maintain a clean and stable signal. Combined with two Accusilicon clock generators (45.1584M and 49.152M), it generates and perfectly synchronizes clock signals. In short, it delivers dramatic jitter reduction for extremely clear digital audio.

The built-in 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor provides incredible power to efficiently process audio signals and ensure smooth navigation in the device interface. This SoC is paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage (ROM) (expandable via Micro SD card, not included in the box).

The DX320 Edition X’s power stage uses two independent batteries. The first powers the digital stage, and the second powers the headphone amplifier. This separation of power supplies limits potential interference between digital and analog circuits to keep distortion levels as low as possible.
