iBasso is a highly successful HiFi audio brand specializing in portable devices such as in-ear headphones and music players. It’s been 15 years since iBasso made its worldwide debut. On its 15th anniversary, iBasso introduced us to a brand new Hi-Res player in its famous “DX” series, the brand new iBasso DX240 .

The DX240 can be seen as a welcome update to the DX220, one of the most successful Hi-Res players on the market today. The latest DX240 offers us better sound quality thanks to the flagship ES9038Pro DAC chip. It features a classic plug-in amplifier module design with support for iBasso’s AMP1-AMP8 modules, just like the DX220. The latest AMP9 module, designed specifically for the flagship DX300, is not supported by the DX240. DX240 comes with AMP1 mk3 AMP module which has 3.5mm LO, 3.5mm PO and 2.5mm TRRS PO as interfaces. For a better user experience and fast performance, iBasso has equipped the DX240 with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660SoC processor paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. The DX240 bridges the gap between the DX300 and DX220, offering a fast user interface, flagship-level audio, full 16x MQA decoding, a 5-inch Full HD 1080p display, open Android 9.0 OS and many more features.
