At the front, the Arcam ST25 features a new 6.5-inch high-resolution display that displays album art and metadata for easy viewing from the comfort of your favourite seat. For playback, the full suite of features supports most smartphones and tablets, as well as popular streaming services. Connecting the ST25 to your home network via Wi-Fi is quick and easy using our ARCAM Radia app. Once connected, enjoy instant playback via Apple Airplay, Google Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect and Roon. The Radia app includes Amazon Music, Qobuz, Global Internet Radio and Podcasts.
The player is equipped with a full set of network interfaces: Ethernet, USB and wireless Wi-Fi. Also on the rear panel of the device there are unbalanced analog outputs, coaxial and optical digital outputs, which provides optimal flexibility for connecting the Arcam ST25 to various systems. This model also contains four digital inputs, which allows it to be used as a DAC for external signal sources.
The Arcam ST25’s superb audio quality has been achieved through the clever design of a new 6-layer digital audio and streaming platform, which includes a ground plane across the board to direct noise and interference away from sensitive audio components. These components include the latest ESS Hyperstream iV DAC topology in a balanced configuration with improved jitter elimination. The audio quality is further improved by a new power supply design, with a linear toroidal transformer that keeps all internal workings running with less noise, and a switching power supply that only operates at maximum efficiency in standby mode.
