Accuphase has released the DP-750 SACD/CD player, designed to replace the DP-720 released in 2013. The developers note a quiet and soft disk loading mechanism and a high-precision reading mechanism. Inside the player there is an MDSD (Multiple Double Speed DSD) digital-to-analog converter, consisting of two ES9028Pro chips (one per channel, and each chip has 8 DACs connected in parallel) and a special summing filter. Such a circuit, as stated in the description, recreates an analog signal of “amazing purity.” The PCM signal is converted using the MDS++ (Multi Delta-Sigma) scheme.

In addition to SACD and CD, the player can handle CD-R/RW and DVD±R/RW discs with tracks in WAV, FLAC and AIFF in quality up to 24 bit/192 kHz and in DSD up to 5.6 MHz. It is equipped with HS Link inputs and outputs (24/192 PCM and 2.8 MHz DSD in the first version and 32/384 PCM and 5.6 MHz DSD in the second), coaxial, optical inputs and outputs (24/192 PCM and 24 /96 PCM, respectively) and USB-B (32/384 PCM, 5.6 MHz DSD via DoP and 11.2 MHz DSD via ASIO). Transport outputs and digital inputs allow you to include the DG-58 equalizer in the system for sound correction.

The processor unit uses the innovative MDSD principle, which implies the presence of a complex anti-aliasing filter circuit; The MDS++ digital-to-analog system reduces conversion errors to a minimum and at the same time acts as a low-pass filter that eliminates high-frequency interference components. The forward balanced filter provides low-pass filtering of balanced and unbalanced signals, and the analog balanced output circuit smooths out signal interference. The result is excellent sound that takes the mystery out of music and best demonstrates the capabilities of the SA-CD format.

Inside the Accuphase DP-750 player, the transport mechanism and processor blocks are located separately from each other. Digital inputs allow you to use the processor unit independently with internal sources and enjoy excellent sound quality.
