The Vietnamese company Thivan Labs introduced a tube preamplifier with a streamer block TMS-9 Premium . The new product features an unbalanced pre-amplifier equipped with 300B tubes and operating in pure class A. A distinctive feature of the new product is the presence on board the TMS-9 Premium of a network player and a music server with a color screen located in the center of the front panel.
TMS-9 Premium can play music from USB drives, DLNA servers on the network and from popular streaming services, including Spotify, Tidal and Qobuz. The switching arsenal of the new product includes two analog balanced inputs on XLR connectors, one analog unbalanced input on RCA and a built-in phono preamplifier input. Moreover, the phono stage is capable of working with both moving magnet (MM) and moving coil (MC) heads.
For connection to a power amplifier or active speakers, both an unbalanced output on RCA connectors and a balanced output on XLR are provided. There is also a headphone amplifier with jack connectors and a 4-pin XLR on the top panel of the case. Headphones with nominal impedances from 150 ohms to 1.2 kohms are supported.
To control Thivan Labs TMS-9 Premium, you can use either the included remote control, or a proprietary application for mobile gadgets, or a WEB browser on your computer. Information on the date the new product will go on sale and the recommended retail price will be communicated additionally.
