McGee introduces the Harmony to a high-performance hybrid amplifier that uses dual 6N1 tubes for the preamp stage to deliver a natural, warm sound, and transistors for the amp section to deliver 2x50W of power into a 4Ω load. Harmony comes with Bluetooth 4.0 wireless connectivity for broadcasting, in particular, from a smartphone, or WiFi for accessing files stored on a local network. The amplifier doesn’t skimp on connectivity either, offering stereo RCA, optical, and coaxial inputs. The output side has speaker terminals, as well as a stereo RCA (pre-out) and 12VDC trigger output on a 3.5mm jack.
McGee Harmony has WiFi reception using the LinkPlay module. So you can stream music remotely from your network, all from a mobile control interface via the free WiiM app. It is available on Android and iOS.
